Whitedust Security 說 Firefox 1.0.7 以及之前的版本都會有被 DoS 的攻擊的弱點. Firefox 1.5 beta 2 則是不受影響.

本來 DoS 沒甚麼好寫的, 不過看到 Comment 說:

Version 1.0.7 on XP sure is. Crashed and burned bad.
Don’t worry about it guys.
I sent Microsoft an Error Report so I’m sure they’ll get right on the problem as well.

…就笑出來了 :p

What’s 佛即是魔?

這篇文章用成語來說就是三人成虎.

在 Interner 的文化裡, 一個很重要, 但是很多人都會忽略的重點就是, Everything on the Internet is untrust. 因為 computer system 無法判斷正確與否, 根據的通常都是數大的那邊. 也就是越多人用, 越多人說, computer system 會判斷這是正確的, 即便它再怎麼乖誕荒謬.

那我們為甚麼還信任 Search Engine 呢? 如果你會這樣問, 這也沒有不對, 不過我則要反問, 為甚麼我們還要信任媒體呢? 如果所有的媒體都說掩蓋 google 其實是 Microsoft 的分公司, 就像 The Matrix 中沒有人知道真相一樣, 那世界會有甚麼改變? 事實上對我這個平民百姓來說, 我的生活不會因此而改變, 只是沒了個正確答案罷了. 如果想要追求 100% 的正確答案, 那樣的人生應該會過的很痛苦吧?

有點悲慘, 不是嗎? 就像把我們打開 Firewall, 把這世上都當作 untrust zone 一樣. (這會不會是現實生活這麼多人信耶穌的原因?)

說不定, 無知, 也是另一種形式的幸褔.
