Many thanks for your time and effort with these builds.

I’ve been using your ‘P3′ build for quite some time and I find it to be the best optimized build out there.

你好，我這幾天在試用您的版本，不過發現有個extension無法在您的版本上作用，

即GeckoTIP (http://geckotip.mozdev.org/)，

這個extension的作用是讓平板電腦也能在firefox上使用其input panel，

（有點像浮動鍵盤，不過是電磁感應筆放在文字輸入區時出現的）

因為我對程式方面完全外行，所以…很抱歉無法提供你任何資訊，

我只知道firefox官方版本原本也無法使用這個input panel，

但在裝了這個extension後便可，不過當我嘗試在pigfoot ver.上使用時卻又不靈了，

因此想請教一下是否有方法可以解決？還是說我應該去找做這個extension的詢問呢？

你好，pigfoot兄，這個extension在official ver.的使用中是正常的，

即使官方版和pigfoot版並存也是，開了官方版可以用，但用pigfoot版就不行，

不過我剛才也去他的網站上看過 (http://geckotip.mozdev.org/trouble.html)，

他提到如果不能使用的話可以試試幾個方法，

其中一個是設法修改firefox installation folder中的”.autoreg”的日期，

用意似乎是要重新產生一些擴充套件需要的檔案？

（顧及版權問題不好意思直接轉載，還煩請pigfoot兄去看一下 ^^||）

而您的版本中似乎沒有這個檔案，從這個角度出發會有什麼幫助嗎？

不好意思麻煩你那麼多次,裝完這個擴充套件以後是會出現這些選項,不過他只算是輔助的,真正的用途是我的電磁感應筆在點選文字輸入區後 (例如網址列,搜尋區或是我現在正在輸入的這個地方),我的輸入區會浮出一個小鍵盤的圖示,點選他以後可以手寫輸入,因為這個圖擷取不易,剛剛終於找到圖了,如下:

其Figure. 1就是我說的浮動小鍵盤,按下去以後就會出現Figure. 2所示的手寫區~

在下昨天也寄信去問了這個extension的原作者了,他的回覆擷取如下,
“GeckoTIP requires a build of Firefox with Accessibility enabled (routines meant for blind people who use screen readers, but are used by GeckoTIP to build the interface with the TIP). Some optimized builds may disable it to improve performance.”

不知以上資訊是否有幫助,如果真如他所言,請問我個人有辦法修改以讓他可以用嗎? (但在下完全沒有程式基礎,只會step by step :P) 因為假使為了這個重新修改pigfoot ver.的話,相信對不使用這個套件的使用者來說可能會降低其效能,失去了這個版本的意義,但如果真的過於麻煩的話,當然也不好意思麻煩到pigfoot兄,那我…也只好忍痛放棄了

Yes, I disable accessibility in my build to reduce code size and improve performance both. I’ll enable this option in since 2006/08/03. You can wait for Firefox 1.5.0.6.

By the way, if some people were concerned about performance, I’ll disable this option again.
