What’s New
- Mozilla Firefox 3.5 Official Release Notes
- Portable edition has been also provided since now. It will create a profile folder “Firefox (Profile)” if needed.
- Firefox 3.5 is based on the Gecko 1.9.1 rendering platform, which has been under development for the past 9 months. Firefox 3.5 is an incremental release on the previous version with significant changes to improve web compatibility, performance, and ease of use
- Support for the HTML5 <video> and <audio> elements including native support for Ogg Theora encoded video and Vorbis encoded audio. (Try it here!)
- Improved tools for controlling your private data, including a Private Browsing Mode
- Improved performance and stability with the new TraceMonkey JavaScript engine.
- The ability to share your location with websites using Location Aware Browsing. (Try it here!)
- Support for native JSON, and web worker threads
- Improvements to the Gecko layout engine, including speculative parsing for faster content rendering
- Support for new web technologies such as: downloadable fonts, CSS media queries, new transformations and properties, JavaScript query selectors, HTML5 local storage and offline application storage, <canvas> text, ICC profiles, and SVG transforms

Been looking forward to this.
Nice build. However, Windows Media Player tries to launch, but disappears @ http://www.bvov.tv/windowsmedia-high.php# – Tete009 build works OK. Once again one must use Tete009 “fix” for using this build as the “Default Browser”.

我测了下Ayakawa、tete009和Pigfoot的Fx3.5的js执行效能，Ayakawa和tete009的结果差不多，Ayakawa在几项测试中都领先，Mr Pigfoot的虽然比官方版的要快，但是比另外2个编译版要慢不少，还有那个jemalloc真能降低内存占用么，在我这Pigfoot的版本占用内存是最多的……以上在XP SP3下测试的，都未装任何扩展

我只能说大部份的情况 jemalloc 是可以节省内存的.
至于效能, 没错, 我一直都知道效能都比不上那两位, 但是他们为了增加效能, 关掉不少功能. 我的目的是要支援所有官方版的功能, 然后加快速度.
如果有一天官方版的和我作的没差多少,我就会停止开发了, 毕竟己经有他们两位在.

Is this possible: Install Firefox Portable from PortableApps.com and delete the default Firefox files. Cut/paste the Firefox Optimized files from your build into the App\Firefox directory and use the PortableApps.com Launcher instead of Firefox Launcher.exe
Seems feasible but I want to make sure that it remains portable as well as stable and optimized. Thanks!
One other question, is it safe to use the PortableApps.com AppCompactor on the program files for your build?

Maybe it can. I’m not familiar with PortableApps.com, so I think the best way is to try it.
I will try it and post the results under 3.5.1 so that others can do it if they so choose.
